THE METHOD, AT A GLANCE

Assess. Restore. Own it. Reset when needed.

A flexible clinical framework, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

STEP O1

Assess

Start with the whole picture, your symptoms, movement, goals, lifestyle, training demands, and the factors most likely driving the problem.

STEP 02

Restore

Use skilled hands-on care and targeted treatment where they can create meaningful change or make movement easier to rebuild.

STEP 03

Own It

Build strength, coordination, mobility, confidence, and a strategy you understand well enough to use outside of physical therapy.

STEP 04

Reset When Needed

Return for focused skilled care when a flare-up, restriction, training cycle, or new demand needs more than your independent plan.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND IT

What Is The Method?

The Divine Restore & Reset Movement Method™ is the clinical philosophy that guides care at Divine Physical Therapy: assess the whole person, use skilled hands-on treatment where it adds value, build purposeful movement and strength on top of that change, and teach you how to manage your body with increasing confidence and independence.

The Method is not a rigid protocol or a promise that every client needs the same number of visits. It is a clinically skilled, individualized framework for determining what you need now, what you can learn to manage independently, and when targeted physical therapy care is clinically appropriate again. Every recommendation is based on your evaluation, goals, Dr. Paige’s professional clinical judgment, and applicable Virginia practice requirements.

WHERE IT STARTS

Care Starts By Deciding Whether This Is The Right Fit.

Every new client begins with a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Consultation. This is a conversation, not an evaluation. Dr. Paige listens to what is going on, asks about your history and goals, screens for concerns that may need another provider or level of care first, and determines whether mobile, one-on-one, direct-pay physical therapy is an appropriate fit.

If it is, the next step is your Comprehensive Movement Evaluation. If it is not, you will be told plainly and, when possible, directed toward a more appropriate resource.

THE METHOD, IN PRACTICE

Each Stage, Explained

01

ASSESS

Understand the whole picture

Your 75-minute Comprehensive Movement Evaluation looks beyond the location of your symptoms. Dr. Paige evaluates how you move, what your body is being asked to do, what may be limiting performance or recovery, and which findings are most relevant to your goals.

When appropriate, treatment begins during the evaluation. That may include manual therapy, movement retraining, exercise, dry needling, education, or other skilled interventions based on your clinical findings. You leave with a clearer understanding of what is happening and what comes next.

02

RESTORE

Use Skilled Care Where It Adds Value

Hands-on treatment is a tool, not the finish line. Manual therapy, joint mobilization, soft-tissue techniques, scar mobilization, cupping, dry needling, and other skilled interventions may be used when they help address restrictions, sensitivity, pain, or movement limitations that are difficult to change on your own.

Then we build on that change. The goal is not repeated treatment for its own sake. It is to create an opportunity for better movement, better loading, and better self-management.

03

OWN IT

Turn Short-Term Change Into Something Useful

Movement, strength, coordination, mobility, and education are layered into care so that progress does not live only on the treatment table. You learn what your body responds to, what to do between visits, how to modify activity when needed, and how to recognize when you can manage something independently.

Skilled hands can create change, but the most valuable care teaches you how to carry that change into your own life. Divine Physical Therapy combines hands-on treatment with purposeful movement, education, and progressive loading so you can restore what needs rebuilding, understand what your body responds to, and become increasingly confident managing your movement independently while knowing targeted skilled care remains available when it adds value.

BETWEEN OWN IT AND RESET

How Is A Care Plan Recommended?

Your recommendation is based on your evaluation findings, goals, clinical needs, and expected progression — not on an insurance-authorized visit count. When a focused course of skilled care is appropriate, Dr. Paige may recommend an initial care plan rather than asking you to decide visit by visit.

As a licensed physical therapist, Dr. Paige also performs re-evaluations when clinically appropriate to measure progress and determine what should happen next. That may mean recommending an additional care plan when continued skilled physical therapy is warranted, transitioning you toward independent management, or moving to individual sessions when occasional targeted care is the better fit. The objective is not to keep you in a package. The objective is to match the level of care to what your body and goals require at that stage.

04

RESET

Return For Targeted Care When You Need It

Independence does not mean you can never come back. Established clients may return for a Targeted Tissue Reset when a familiar restriction, flare-up, training issue, competition cycle, demanding work schedule, or other movement problem would benefit from focused skilled care.

Because your history and movement patterns are already known, these visits can be more targeted. If your condition has materially changed or a new problem requires a broader assessment, Dr. Paige will determine whether a re-evaluation or new evaluation is more appropriate.

WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY

Why One-On-One Care With The Same Doctor Of Physical Therapy?

Continuity matters. Your assessment, hands-on treatment, movement progression, and clinical decision-making stay with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy. There are no aides, no rotating clinicians, and no need to repeatedly explain your history to someone new.

For mobile visits, care also happens in the environment where you actually live, work, train, parent, and recover. For postpartum care, your baby is welcome to remain with you during the visit.
