ABOUT DR. PAIGE · STAFFORD & FREDERICKSBURG, VA
Meet Dr. Thea Paige
PT, DPT, CMTPT, PCES
One clinician. One practice. One standard.
For more than a decade, Dr. Paige has cared for people across orthopedics and pelvic health—in hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics. Since founding Divine Physical Therapy in December 2016, she has brought that same clinical depth directly to clients’ homes throughout Stafford County and Fredericksburg, Virginia.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PRACTICE
Who is Dr. Thea Paige?
Dr. Thea Paige, PT, DPT, CMTPT, PCES, is the founder and sole clinician of Divine Physical Therapy, a mobile, direct-pay practice serving Stafford County and Fredericksburg, Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2015, opened the practice in December 2016, and delivers every 75-minute session herself, in your home.
She is one of very few clinicians in the region credentialed on both the orthopedic and the pelvic health side of physical therapy — and she still works in community hospitals, across the full continuum of care.

WHERE IT BEGAN
Where Did Her Path To Physical Therapy Begin?
Dr. Paige was born and raised in Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of North Texas. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at The George Washington University, graduating in 2015 — a clinical doctorate, the standard entry-level degree of the profession.
The science-first education still shows in how she practices. Clients hear the anatomy behind their symptoms, the mechanism behind each treatment choice, and the honest state of the evidence — because a person who understands their body makes better decisions about it, long after the plan of care ends.

WHY DID SHE FOUND DIVINE PHYSICAL THERAPY?
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…”
1 Peter 4:10
Dr. Paige founded Divine Physical Therapy in December 2016 to create the kind of care she believed people deserved: attentive, one-on-one, and built around the whole person. Every appointment is 75 uninterrupted minutes with one clinician, allowing time to listen, assess what is truly contributing to the problem, and create a plan based on your needs and goals—not a preset visit count.
The name reflects a standard of care rooted in service. Divine Physical Therapy is not affiliated with a church or denomination and welcomes clients of every background and belief.
TWO DISCIPLINES, ONE CLINICIAN
Does She Specialize In Orthopedics Or Pelvic Health?

Both — and the combination is the point. Dr. Paige holds advanced orthopedic and dry needling credentials alongside advanced pelvic health training, so the same clinician can treat the back pain and the pelvic symptom that so often share a single driver. Very few clinicians hold both halves; almost none deliver them in your home.
On the orthopedic side, she has been a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars since 2017, with more than ten years of dry needling experience. On the pelvic side, she has completed advanced coursework through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and holds the Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) certification.
The deep core is a pressure system, not a muscle list: the diaphragm above, the abdominal wall — including the transversus abdominis — around, the pelvic floor below. Load moves through that canister as pressure, which is why a “pelvic floor problem” can be driven by a rib, a hip or a breathing pattern.
STAYING SHARP AT EVERY STAGE
Why Does Dr. Paige Still Work in Inpatient Rehabilitation?
Alongside Divine Physical Therapy, Dr. Paige continues to work in inpatient rehabilitation at a community hospital. Her broader experience includes acute hospital care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, and pelvic health—giving her perspective on recovery from the earliest stages through return to everyday life.
It is also why this practice can serve people most outpatient clinics are not set up for — the client three days home from a hospital stay, the stroke survivor whose family is still arranging transport, the post-surgical knee that cannot yet manage a clinic waiting room.
“There is a window after inpatient discharge where a person cannot yet get to an outpatient clinic and no longer qualifies for home health — and in three weeks they can lose what took six weeks to earn. I have worked both ends of that gap. This practice exists, in part, because of it.”

IN SESSION
What is it like to work with her?
Expect to be talked with, not at. Education is the treatment plan here: you will leave every session understanding what is driving your symptoms, why each exercise exists, and what the next step is. Sessions are unhurried, hands-on, and built around your goals rather than a template.
Expert Hands
Skilled manual therapy when it adds value to your plan of care.
Purposeful Movement
Corrective exercise and progressive loading to build what lasts.
Education
You leave understanding your own body, not just following instructions.
Independence
The plan is built toward you no longer needing regular treatment.
That is The Divine Restore & Reset Movement Method™, laid out stage by stage on the approach page. Dr. Paige does not promise cures, does not needle for the sake of needling, and will tell you plainly — ideally on the discovery call — if another provider or level of care would serve you better.
